Agricultural Literacy

Central Oregon growers and industry partners are committed to educating students and the public about all facets of the agriculture industry and in turn, inspiring others to be the next generation of agriculturalists

To make agricultural literacy efforts easy and accessible a resource library is available at the Central Oregon Agricultural Research Center, as well as various online resources found on our website. Different education pages are available for the commodities grown locally in central Oregon, and also the different sceintific approaches found at the research center.

All materials are free and available for checkout to tri-county educators and home school groups as well as, 4-H and FFA groups. If you are interested in renting any of the resources please contact Tracy Wilson, COARC Agricultural Literacy Coordinator at: tracy.wilson@oregonstate.edu or by phone, 541.475.7107.

COARC is also available for hosting field trips and agricultural tours through out the year. To arrange, please also contact Tracy Wilson, whose information is listed above.

A special thank you to our local growers and industry partners for helping fund this necessary and important endeavor.
